  Conditions

  1. Entrance fee must be paid at time of entry. When course capacity is reached, late entries may not be accepted. 2. The Committee shall have the entire management of the meeting. 3. Players must report to starter at least 15 minutes before their notified time of starting. 4. Entries are restricted to Amateurs who are members of Clubs of the Victorian Golf Association or golf clubs registered with such State or Overseas Association as are affiliated with or recognised by this Association, or clubs affiliated with the Victorian Golf League, and the Committee shall have the right to refuse entry of any person without being requested to give any reason for such refusal. 5. Competitions shall be played in accordance with the Rules of Gold as adopted by the Royal and Ancient Golf Club of St. Andrews, Scotland, together with such local rules as are in force on the links over which the Competition takes place. If a dispute arises on any point, it shall be decided by the Committee in Charge of the Competition whose decision shall be final. Provided, however, that the Committee, if in doubt shall have the right to refer any such dispute to the Council of the Victorian Golf Association, whose decision shall then be final. 6. Competitors must state the club to which they belong and their handicap. PROOF OF HANDICAP MUST BE AVAILABLE UPON REQUEST. 7. The Committee has the power to alter a player's handicap during the meeting 8. The Committee shall have the right to alter or vary the grade distribution due to the size of the fields. 9. In the event of a tie in any of the handicap events, a countback as per Rules of V.G.A. & W.G.A. will be made.  A tie in the Ladies & Mens scratch events on Friday & Saturday only shall be decided by a play-off as directed by the match committee. 10.  No competitor shall be permitted to win more than one trophy on Men's/Ladies days and only one in Sunday's Mixed Event (Except N.T.P.'s) 11.  Event winners shall be decided in the order in which they appear on the entry form. 12.  All entries must be made to the Tournament Secretary of the Lakes Entrance Golf Club NOT LATER THAN 22nd September 2008.  Any change of circumstance must be addressed through the Tournament Secretary. 14. In the event of insufficient entries, the Committee has the right to cancel the event.
